I'm Chera, and I started The Property Paper Co. because property management runs on paperwork, and most of it is either overwhelming or ugly.

I found my way into property management through a career built around operations, organization and solving the everyday problems that come with keeping properties, and all the moving pieces behind them, on track.

Every checklist, tracker and template here is built around a real step in the life of a rental: screening an applicant, documenting a move-in, following up on a renewal, or closing out a turnover.

The goal is simple: tools that are practical, good to look at, and actually useful on a Tuesday afternoon.

Keys & Chaos is the journal alongside the shop, where I write in first person about what's working, what isn't, and everything that happens somewhere in between.

I write for property managers, landlords and anyone else trying to keep the keys, paperwork, people and occasional chaos under control.
